Hello and Welcome To Wanda's Travel's

Recently I was able to visit Edinburgh Scotland.
There I was able to see much of the beautiful green country side. The scenery was very Breath taking as we traveled with the Scotline tour Company.
We started off from the beautiful city where you seem to be taken back in time from the reminders of the past through the history told from the statues that lined each of the street corners and the beautiful Castle Edinburgh. Also along the city was a beautiful park adorned with flowers and plants neatly groomed that bordered it's paths.
At one end of the park you see this massive fountain with all the artistically drawn history in it's making. All along the path are benches donated in the memory of very important people of the city and their contribution to their city and it's people. On the other end you will see a working clock made up of floral's of many kinds.
From the city we traveled north past Stirling to our first coffee stop where we had a bit of breakfast Scotland style. From there the scene became increasingly dramatic as we continued through Rob Roy Country. We arrived at Weeping Glen of Glencoe where the Campbells and Mac Donalds fought their famous battle. Here we stopped for photographs and marveled at the eerie landscape before stopping at Fort William for lunch. After Lunch we followed the Caledonian Canal with a photo stop to view Ben Nevis in the distance. We then drove along the length of Loch Ness to Urquhart Castle. We saw a short film telling of the history of the castle and walked through the ruins taking photos. We then continued homeward following Grampian Mountains. At Pitlochry, a small town we stop for supper and try out Haggis then we head back to Edinburgh through stunning scenery following the course of the River Tay, which is famous for salmon fishing. Finally we cross the River Forth where we could view and take photos of the Forth Rail Bridge. All in all a wonderful day.
